After much deliberation and doubting myself, I decided to start a makeup and skincare blog. I feel a bit insecure since it's been years since I blogged, but I figure there is no time like the present and after all, this is one thing I really enjoy talking about.
For those who may be reading that are not my personal friends, I will tell you a bit about myself. I am 25 years old and spent 2011 studying to be an esthetician at a Marinello's School of Beauty. I graduated in October 2011 and am currently studying for my license test while waitressing full time. I've always enjoyed makeup and have always been a bit more daring than most of my friends when it comes to color choices. While I can appreciate neutrals, I believe there is no such thing as "day time makeup" and fantasy makeup has a deep place in my heart. I am passionate about skin care and love spreading the word to other women about how they can feel more beautiful in thier own skin. After I aquire my license, I would love to work in a spa or salon that promotes a relaxing atmosphere and uses as many organic products as possible.
My ultimate goal with this blog is to review products, give makeup tutorials and general skincare advice. I would love to inspire other women to be daring with thier makeup look and express themselves confidently. At the moment, the technology I have does not permit me to make videos, but I promise it is a priority.
What I ask of you.... what would you like to read about? What skin care questions do you have? What makeup looks would you like to see? I love prestige products, however many women (including myself) cannot afford these products on a regular basis. I will be reviewing drugstore cosmetics as well as my beloved prestige products when I can get my hands on them.
